Salt is in our blood, in our tears and in our sweat. And now you can have it in your hair too. Chuck it in there pure for the beachy look beloved by weasels, in the style of a pirate captain, a tanned hippy with a surfboard in hand or an unbreakable survivor. You can use water with sea salt for pre-styling your hair, just like you'd know from a barber. You'll give your hair a thicker, matte texture and whatever you then put in your hair will stick to it like Jack Sparrow to a bottle of rum. Proudly made in Czechia.
SALT IS GOOD
A super simple idea that we've perfected. We added sea salt, Epsom salt and a pinch of other good things to the water. Spray it into your hair and watch the magic. As the water dries, the salt together with the PVP polymer will give your hair a thicker texture and a matte look, as if you'd just climbed out of the sea. Texturising spray was for years a closely guarded trick in the arsenal of professional barbers, who used it for pre-styling. Simply like a base coat that clay, paste and pomade stick to much better. And now you can have it too!
HAIR FOR A MAN
Hair cosmetics are really piling up here, what do you say? If you don't know your way around it, don't worry. The average bloke has shampoo and one styling product. The connoisseurs also take a tonic. And then there are the mad ones who use it all. Theory is no science. There are things (hair shampoo, dry shampoo, tonic) that mainly cleanse and maybe lightly help with styling. Then there are things designed for styling, which you always choose so they suit your target hairstyle (clay, paste, pomade). And finally there are the fancy bits for the demanding (salt water, powder, spray). Use:
Spray your hair with an appropriate amount of texturising spray and comb through by hand or with a comb into the desired shape. Then just let it dry or blow-dry your hair. And if your hair won't comb through, next time spray the texturising spray onto lightly dampened hair.
PRO TIP: Instead of just waiting for the salt water to dry, try using a blow-dryer. With a bit of practice and a comb you can conjure up incredible waves full of volume. If the castaway look isn't enough for you, a blow-dryer will make the salt water worth its weight in gold.
WARNING: Salty Sailor contains, surprisingly, salt. In higher quantities it can dry out skin, so be careful when applying and spray directly onto your hair. If a drop or two lands elsewhere, no worries, you won't suddenly turn into an old man. Just don't deliberately spray salt on your skin and you'll be fine.
Texturising spray is a great product with which you can pull off a casual beachy style, as if you'd just come off a surfboard. However, it's also excellent for professional pre-styling, thanks to which clay, paste, gel or other styling product will fix much better all at once. Water with sea salt and Epsom salt creates a thicker texture on your hair and adds volume, whilst the PVP polymer keeps your hair in the desired shape. For nourishment and hydration of your hair we've finished it all off with panthenol and extract from sea kelp.
