Η ελαστικότητα του σχοινιού βοηθά επίσης να απορροφήσει τις κρούσεις, γεγονός που βοηθά στη μεταφορά ευαίσθητου εξοπλισμού, στη συγκράτηση και αποθήκευση αντικειμένων.
