Χάρη στις δύο νέες καραμπίνερ MiniWire, που είναι οι ελαφρύτερες, πλήρως λειτουργικές καραμπίνερ στη σειρά της Black Diamond, και στον 60 cm (δηλαδή μήκος ώμου) 8 mm σωληνωτό biner από 100% Dyneema, ο οποίος είναι ελαφρύς, ανθεκτικός στη φθορά και απορροφά λιγότερο νερό από το nylon, το MiniWire είναι ιδανικό για αλπικές αποστολές όταν το βάρος είναι το σημαντικό.
