Ultra-light aluminium ice axe, 45 cm long, designed for ski mountaineers, ski-mountaineering racers and people for whom weight is a critical factor. CAMP Cassin Corsa Alpine weighs only about 200 g, making it one of the lightest ice axes on the market. EN 13089 type B certification ensures safety on steeper sections and on glacier traverses.

Aluminium pick for lower weight

Both the head and pick of the axe are made of strong aluminium alloy – the axe is minimally burdensome when carried on a backpack and adds no load during long traverses. However, it is not suitable for hard ice or for technical climbing – for these purposes, reach for the Corsa Nanotech model with a steel pick.

Ergonomic handle and oval shaft profile

The shaft has an oval profile that grips well even in gloves. The bottom end is finished with a sharp stainless steel spike, which offers good grip in snow and on light ice. A wrist leash is not included – needs to be purchased separately.
