Cold Steel SRK SK-5 knife (Survival Rescue Knife) was designed specifically with survival and rescue operations in mind. The Survival Rescue Knife is very popular among armed forces and rescue service units, and is standard equipment for the US Navy. The knife blade is made from high-carbon SK-5 steel, traditionally used in the manufacture of a wide range of hand tools including chisels and wood saws, drills and so on. The steel exhibits high toughness, holds an edge very well and has excellent resistance to wear. The blade is treated with a Black Tuff-Ex™ surface finish for corrosion protection. The perfectly shaped knife handle made from Kraton material (Long Kray-Ex™) offers a non-slip surface. It fits the hand excellently and allows for very fine work with the knife in wet conditions. The knife comes with a Secure-Ex sheath for protection of both you and the blade.
