Ultra-performance rechargeable flashlight Fenix LR50R V2.0 delivers an extreme luminous flux of up to 18000 lumens (ANSI) and an impressive beam distance of 846 meters. It achieves its output using six high-performance Luminus SST70 LEDs with a lifespan of 50000 hours of illumination. These are newly complemented by a powerful 10 W UV LED with a black filter for professional inspections and a red LED whose light does not impair night vision adaptation. The flashlight is powered by a massive Li-ion battery with an astonishing capacity of 32000 mAh (115.2 Wh), which is integrated into the handle. The innovative user interface combines an electronic button and a rotary switch for smooth output regulation. In real time, an intelligent OLED display additionally informs you about the flashlight’s status.

The flashlight features two hidden USB-C charging ports. Through them it can not only be charged rapidly (supports simultaneous fast charging via both ports), but can also be used as a high-performance power bank to charge other devices (supports output up to 45 W). Thanks to the smooth output regulation you can precisely set the desired brightness. Despite its massive output and huge battery capacity, the flashlight retains reasonable dimensions – length is 21.8 centimeters and weight is 1150 grams including the battery. For comfortable carrying it is equipped with an ergonomic non-slip shoulder strap with a rescue whistle. This uncompromising searchlight is suitable primarily for rescue and reconnaissance operations, guarding large facilities, professional inspection deployment (thanks to the UV light) or for the most demanding flashlight enthusiasts.

All flashlight parameters (luminous flux, runtime on battery, waterproofness, beam distance and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.

Fenix LR50R V2.0 flashlight specifications

• Charging and power bank function are via two hidden USB-C ports. The orange port supports super-fast charge/discharge up to 45 W (15 V / 3 A), the black port up to 18 W (9 V / 2 A). Both ports can be used simultaneously!
• When both ports are connected at full power, charging time from zero to 100% is only 3 hours with a suitably powerful USB power source. The flashlight supports PD3.0, PD2.0 and QC2.0 standards.

Usage

Turning on/off: When the flashlight is locked, turn the rotary switch clockwise to turn it on to white light. To turn off and lock, turn the rotary switch counterclockwise until it stops. With the flashlight off or locked, double-click the electronic switch to turn on the colored light. When the flashlight is unlocked, press and hold the electronic switch for 0.5 s to turn it on/off.

Switching modes: With the flashlight on, a single press of the button cycles between Throw -> Wide -> Combined mode. To enter the Red and UV light modes double-click the button (when off or locked). Subsequent clicks cycle: Red light -> Red flashing -> UV light.

Smooth output regulation: In any white or red light mode brightness can be smoothly adjusted with the rotary switch.

Strobe and SOS: In the unlocked state hold the button for 1.2 seconds to activate Strobe. A short click then switches to SOS. Holding longer (1.2 s) exits the flashing modes.

Locking the flashlight: Turning the rotary switch left to the stop (counterclockwise) turns the flashlight off and locks it against accidental activation (e.g., in luggage). To unlock, simply turn it right.

Intelligent proximity sensor: If the flashlight’s reflector approaches an obstacle to a distance of about 6 cm for longer than 1.5 seconds, output is automatically reduced to 50 lumens. Once the obstacle is removed, output gradually returns. The function can be deactivated: with the flashlight locked hold the button for 6 seconds; the flashlight will flash 8 times (function off). Repeat the procedure to reactivate (flash 2 times).

Overheat protection: During prolonged operation at high outputs the flashlight heats up. Once it exceeds 65 °C the electronics will smoothly reduce output for safe cooling. After the temperature drops below 65 °C the output will gradually return to the original level.

Charging

• Open the cover of the charging connectors at the end of the flashlight and plug the USB-C charging cable into one or both USB-C ports of the flashlight. After charging is complete, tighten the cover again.
• Typical charging time is approximately 3 hours when both USB-C ports are connected and charging at maximum power 45 + 18 W. The orange port is for fast 45 W charging/discharging, the black port provides 18 W.
• During charging a charging icon and charge level indicator are shown on the OLED display. The charge level is also shown on the green indicators at the end of the flashlight.
• If you store the flashlight for a long time, charge it every four months to maintain optimal battery performance.
• The USB-C ports support PD3.0, PD2.0 and all other common fast charging protocols.
• Use only a certified USB charging adapter that meets the safety standards of the country or region where this product is sold.
• During charging and discharging the flashlight can be used, however the maximum white light output is limited to 900 lumens.

Power bank function (discharging)

• Turn off the flashlight, unscrew the USB-C port cover and connect the USB device you wish to charge.
• During discharging the OLED display will automatically light up, showing the current battery percentage and discharging icon. The 10 green indicators at the end of the flashlight will gradually go out to indicate decreasing capacity.
• After discharging is complete disconnect the charging cable and tighten the rear cover fully to hide and seal the ports again.
• Compatible fast discharge protocols: PD, QC etc.
• For safety reasons the power bank function will automatically stop once the flashlight battery voltage drops below 2.8 V.

Warning

• Do not disassemble sealed parts of the flashlight yourself (except for replacing the battery handle), this will void the warranty and may cause damage.
• WARNING ABOUT UV RADIATION: The flashlight emits strong ultraviolet light (10 W) which can damage eyes or skin. When working with UV light always wear protective goggles that filter UV radiation and protect the skin. Never shine into your own or anyone else’s eyes. Reflections from smooth surfaces can be dangerous.
• The flashlight generates a huge amount of heat. Do not touch the head of the turned-on flashlight and prevent it from being placed against flammable materials. Do not leave the flashlight on unattended.
• If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after extended use, replace them. The rings should also be lubricated to prevent rubber erosion. Following these rules will ensure the flashlight is properly protected against water.
• If the flashlight is flashing, not switching to higher output modes or not lighting up, it may be for one of the following reasons:
  • The battery is depleted; charge it.
  • The flashlight is locked - turn the switch to the unlocked position.
  • Contacts are contaminated – clean them with a cotton swab soaked in alcohol.
