Vyvasol Trophy Cleaner EXTRA 3 in 1

Vyvasol EXTRA trophy cleaner is an effective product that combines three steps needed to prepare a trophy before mounting on a plaque.
In one step it effectively macerate, degreases and bleaches. The substances contained in the product help break down and separate tissue from bone, thus shortening the maceration time. The trophy is macerated at a temperature of 80°C, preventing damage from boiling.

Instructions for use:

1. Skin the trophy and trim away as much tissue as possible. Remove the brain and rinse out the cranial cavity.
2. Soak the trophy in cold salt water and leave to leach for approximately 24 hours. Ensure that the antlers and horns are not soaked; it is best to place the ear plugs down before the actual leaching.
3. Next, prepare a solution containing Vyvasol product at 30 to 50 g/1l of water; one measuring cup is approximately 30 g. Dosage depends on the age of the animal. For very old specimens, higher dosage can be used. For young specimens, especially roe deer, dose Vyvasol at a ratio of 15 to 20g/l of water. Begin heating the solution and stir until the Vyvasol dissolves. Next, place the skull in the solution, ensuring that the horns or antlers are not submerged, and continue heating to a temperature of 80°C, maximum 90°C. It is better if the water does not boil, as this will prevent possible damage to the skull.
4. Monitor the trophy to prevent over-maceration. When the tissue begins to separate from the bone, remove the skull and clean it using a brush and taxidermy tools. If not all tissue can be cleaned, place the skull back in the solution, check regularly and clean the remainder.
5. Rinse the skull thoroughly and allow to dry.
6. Using Trophy Bleaching Paste, bleach the trophy.
7. After drying, apply Trophy Care Solution or Trophy Wax from the FOR HUNTER product range to the trophy. The solution in which the skull was macerated can be poured down the drain.
