The BDU shorts are classic combat shorts adapted to needs in the field.
A shorter version, the same practical character
The shortened length does not mean limited functionality. Helikon-Tex designed the BDU shorts to keep as many of the features and solutions known from the long version, that is from the BDU and BDU Mk2 trousers, as possible.
PolyCotton Ripstop is a durable fabric for intensive use
The combination of cotton and polyester with an addition of elastane gives good breathability, quick drying, flexibility and high resistance to wear during work in the city and in the field. The Ripstop weave strengthens the structure of the fabric. Thanks to this any damage to the material does not spread further, which increases the durability of the product.
The BDU shorts are durable combat shorts refined for comfort.
Waist adjustment
A metal regulator with a tape stabilises the trousers and lets you adapt the circumference to your figure.
Wide belt loops
They are compatible with belts up to 50 mm. During movement they steadily hold even a heavily loaded belt.
Reinforcements at the crotch and seat
They increase durability when sitting down often, when changing positions and when moving over difficult ground.
The Battle Dress Uniform shorts have 7 functional pockets.
Front pockets
Two classic pockets for essential EDC, for example a flashlight or a knife.
Rear pockets
Two flapped pockets closed with concealed buttons. They secure small gear, a notebook or documents.
Side pockets
Two large cargo pockets closed with concealed buttons. They take basic combat gear.
A hidden magazine pocket
It is sewn behind the cargo pocket. It takes an extra AK/AR magazine or small accessories.
The BDU is the Helikon-Tex interpretation of the classic American Battle Dress Uniform trousers.
They keep their simplicity and reliability and at the same time answer today's needs without superfluous additions, but with an emphasis on durability, functionality and easy handling.
