Μετά τον Δεύτερο Παγκόσμιο Πόλεμο, τα βαμβακερά μπλουζάκια σε σχήμα T έγιναν πολύ δημοφιλή, χάρη και στον Marlon Brando και τον James Dean, οι οποίοι τα φορούσαν στην μεγάλη οθόνη.
