Climashield® Apex™ insulation warms even when wet

Unlike down, insulation made of synthetic fibres warms even when wet and does not clump. You can wash the jacket in a washing machine. The insulation with a weight of 67 g/m² is light, efficient, gives breathability and also has good compression properties.

The outer material is the exceptionally durable Duracanvas

It is an in-house fabric developed by Helikon-Tex technologists for demanding uses. It stands out for its high resistance to abrasion, tearing and contact with sparks, which matters crucially in hard conditions.

The material is adapted for wax impregnation, thanks to which you increase the garment's resistance to rain, snow and soiling yourself.

An adjustable hood and a high collar

The deep hood with a brim and three-point adjustment makes it possible to fit the jacket precisely to the head. The high collar gives thermal comfort.

Adjustment of the waist, the hem and the cuffs

Thanks to the drawcords at the bottom of the jacket you fit it to your figure and protect yourself against draughts. The cuffs adjusted with hook-and-loop are additional protection against cold.

Underarm ventilation

Ventilation openings with zippers and Mesh netting increase the airflow exactly when you need it. They help to carry away excess heat quickly as the intensity of movement rises.

External pockets

Two chest pockets with organisers for small EDC, two hip pockets, spacious and insulated, and one shoulder pocket. All pockets close with YKK® zippers.

Internal pockets

Two open hip pockets made of elastic mesh, in which you dry damp gloves. One zippered chest pocket secures a wallet and documents.

MOLLE/PALS webbing

At the bottom of the jacket's sides there is MOLLE/PALS webbing to which you quickly and conveniently clip, for example, gloves on a carabiner, a knife or other handy tools.
