The CT990 is a VHF with IP67 certification, which allows its use in extreme weather conditions, as it is protected against dust and water to a depth of one metre for 30 minutes.
Its large colour display allows excellent readability thanks to TFT liquid crystal technology.
The EB version has an improved battery with a capacity of 3600 mAh, which corresponds to approximately 30% greater capacity and consequently longer battery life. The previous model lasted approximately 16 hours, with the improved battery it lasts approximately 21 hours. Like its predecessor, the CT990 EB has an output power of 10 W and guarantees excellent radio coverage performance compared to other devices in the same amateur family, which typically transmit at 5 W.
