Μπορεί να τυλιχθεί χωρίς κόπο και να αποθηκευθεί πολύ συμπαγώς στη βαλίτσα. Η κορυφή του καπέλου είναι εξοπλισμένη με 4 αεραγωγούς. Χάρη στα συμπιεστικά κουμπιά και στις δύο πλευρές, το γείσο μπορεί να διπλωθεί στο πλάι της κορυφής του καπέλου. Επιπλέον, το καπέλο διαθέτει ρυθμιζόμενη ζώνη κάτω από το σαγόνι.
