When you need even more room

It does not matter whether it is down to your build or whether you simply need to roll around to sleep well - sometimes you just need more room than mummy sleeping bags can offer. And that is why there is the Blizzard Junior PFM, the smallest of the family that also includes the Blizzard PFM and the Blizzard Wide PFM, made for your offspring.

The Junior version is slightly narrower and almost half a metre shorter than the standard Blizzard. This is so that it does not lose its efficiency through excessive air circulation when used by a smaller person.

Given its qualities, such as the roominess and versatility already mentioned - it can be joined to a second Blizzard and also unzipped completely to make a blanket - we recommend it above all for car camping and other forms of long-stay camping.

So the cold stays out.

Because we know that cold is the number one enemy of sleep, we fight it by every means available.

• The SBS zip is of course two-way and can be operated from the inside as well as the outside. On top of that it has a baffle on the inside that effectively stops draughts. The baffle is padded, so even if you were to lie on the zip it would not wake the Princess and the Pea.
• It may seem like a trifle, but which of us would think of taking clothes pegs into the outdoors? That is why we have fitted our sleeping bags with two loops for easier hanging and faster drying.

For individuals and couples alike.

Because the zip is placed on either the left or the right side and splits in the corner at the foot end, you can join not only two Blizzard bags but also a Blizzard with any blanket-style sleeping bag filled with ThermicFibre PFM, so when your child gets cold they can zip up to you or to a sibling.

In hot weather, on the other hand, the Blizzard can be unzipped completely and turned into a 170x150 cm blanket.

Two-layer thermal insulation makes sure that no cold spots form in the fill. The fill consists of two layers of batting one above the other: one is stitched at intervals to the outer fabric, the other in the same way to the inner one, only the seams are offset so that they never overlap.

Clima Control Shield fabric finish

Clima Control Shield (CCS) technology brings a balanced outer fabric: it prevents warm air from escaping from the inside and at the same time provides adequate breathability. It optimises the ratio between wind resistance, which keeps the warmth in, and the venting of internal moisture, which prevents condensation. The combination of these properties ensures comfort and a favourable climate inside the sleeping bag. The water-repellent finish provides sufficient protection against bad weather. Fabric with the Clima Control Shield finish is light, packable and soft to the touch.
