The Secura 6100 full-face gas mask, when combined with filters, canisters or filter canisters, provides complete protection of the respiratory system, eyes and facial skin against vapour, gases, dust, smoke, mist and aerosols. The Secura 6100 full-face gas mask, when combined with filters, canisters or filter canisters, provides complete protection of the respiratory system, eyes and facial skin against vapour, gases, dust, smoke, mist and aerosols. The mask is fitted with a panoramic polycarbonate visor that is resistant to scratching and impact, providing a wide field of vision of more than 80%. The mask is made from self-extinguishing plastic and silicone, which stops burning when the heat source is removed and does not allow fire to spread. The entire head assembly is held firmly in place by a support system consisting of four adjustable, elastic straps. Adjustable fastening allows the mask to be adapted to the individual needs of the user. The phonetic membrane used ensures effective communication and speech intelligibility during work. An internal half-mask prevents fogging and reduces carbon dioxide levels beneath the mask. The low profile ensures compatibility with protective helmets. The respirator for the mask is attached using a bayonet connection. The assembled mask provides protection in a temperature range from −40 to 40 degrees and relative humidity of up to 98%. Please note that the mask does not include a filter or filters; these must be purchased separately or by selecting a kit. The Secura 6100 mask complies with EN 136:1998, which defines the requirements and tests that a mask must pass to be approved for use. This standard means that the mask must allow continuous operation in an atmosphere containing hazardous substances.
